Sunlight Mountain Resort is sitting pretty with recent snow storms that have blessed the region. But even with a top mountain depth reported at 16 inches Tuesday, Marketing Manager Dylan Lewis was reluctant to say whether the resort would open early.

Booco earns trip to circuit finals

Hayden bull rider Jake Booco spent his summer with one eye on his sport and one on his Sept. 12 wedding. The split focus reduced his time on the road, but it amounted to the most efficient winning season in the 25-year-old’s career, and last weekend in Denver he won the Dodge Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo.
